The London Technology Fund (LTF) is London’s specialist investor in new technology companies. It is focused on the funding gap for new, high growth technology companies based in Greater London. It bridges the funding gap by leading and building a syndicate of investors or by completing the gap in an existing syndicate. It has developed a streamlined investment process with an initial web-based application that helps entrepreneurs identify and provide the essential information LTF needs for prompt decision-making.
The Fund backs ambitious teams and will work with them to achieve strong results. Our focus is on the following sectors:
- Communications

Last night’s club meeting was very successful - with several new people coming along to the club from all over London as well as further afield.
Last night’s guest speaker was Celia Gates who managed to fit us into her busy schedule. She had just returned from China and talked to us about the pros and cons of product licensing and selling abroad.
She has gained numerous awards including European Female Designer of the year Award and her new packaging design was Awarded the Minds Award by the Malaysian Innovators and design Society.
Having won the Platinum Award for British Consumer Invention of the Year in 2004, Celia put everything on the line to develop her unique range of cookware. “I raised money by selling my house, left work and got fully stuck in to the development of the product.”
Celia has recently returned from exhibiting at the Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt where she launched her range in 2007. This is one of the largest International Housewares trade fairs and she has been amazed at the response to her new ranges. Hopefully what this means is that her products will start to find their way to a store closer to you in the not too distant future.
Celia was be able to discuss first hand the advantages of exhibiting at Shows and give us an insight into the pros and cons of manufacturing abroad.
