10th Anniversary Celebrations

We celebrated our 10th anniversary at our April 2014 meeting.

A great night was had by all those that turned up, with particular mention of:-

  • Terry Jennings - past Chairman and joint founder of the club

  • Brenda Reay - Secretary and treasurer and joint founder of the club

  • Mark Sheahan – Inventor in residence at the Business & IP Centre at the British Library

  • Barry Slayford – Chairman of Croydon Round Table of Inventors

During the celebration both Terry & Brenda were honoured for their past services to the club with a glass presentation.

It was only a week or so before the anniversary that the organiser was informed that the club had actually formed in the old Barking Technical College, Longbridge road back in March 2003 – so we were actually 11 years old – Opps!!!

Here’s a few photos of the evening captured by ELIC member Dave Fulton – cheers Dave.
